JuJu is a reusable menstrual cup made from medical-grade silicone. It replaces tampons and pads.
JuJu is available in two models and can be used by women of all ages.
Whilst there are no hard and fast rules for selecting a model size, model selection is generally based on childbearing history but many other factors such as anatomy, age and pelvic floor tone may influence your cup size selection.
The following table is a guide to model numbers based on childbearing history;
|1||Women who HAVE NOT had a vaginal birth|
|2||Women who HAVE had a vaginal birth|
Please note that the sizing recommendations should be used as a guide only.
If you have had a caesarean birth a Model 1 or Model 2 JuJu may be suitable.
When selecting a Model number, please also consider the other factors below in conjunction with childbrearing history.
If you have particularly strong pelvic floor tone due to practicing regular kegel exercises or other activities such as pilates, yoga or dance you may wish to consider a Model 1, regardless of childbearing history or age.
If you have had vaginal corrective surgery you may wish to consider a Model 1.
A Model 1 JuJu is recommended for virgins and sexually active young women.
If you have a petite or small build, you may wish to consider a Model 1 JuJu.
If you have a larger build, you may wish to consider a Model 2 JuJu.
If you have a low cervix or short vaginal canal, a Model 1 may suit you well.
If you have high cervix or long vaginal canal, a Model 2 may be better suited to your anatomy.
If you have any gynaecological concerns, such as a particularly long or narrow vaginal canal, we recommend you seek the advice of your medical practitioner prior to using JuJu to see if it is suitable for you.
Some women may lose vaginal and pelvic floor tone due to hormonal changes or age. In this case a Model 2 may be a preferred choice.
Your cervical position may also influence you ability to successfully use a menstrual cup. You can read more about Cervical Position in this article - Cervical Position.

I had been looking at these for a while before I purchased and one day decided no going to get one as I was so sick of tampons and the rubbish every month. Well what can I say these are AMAZING! Every female must get one. I must admit the first month was last month and you do need to get used to it. The first time I put it in, I couldn't get it out for a while but the more you relax and practise it will just get easier. I emailed Juju and they was so helpful and gave me further tips which allowed me on the last day to finally get the hang of it. I am now on my second period and it's a breeze now. Normally on my first night of a period I am up every 2 hours changing my tampon however with the Juju I went from 9pm to 5am with no change so I get a good night sleep. I feel cleaner and my periods do not annoy me as much now as I am not always in the bathroom. Once I get past day 1 of my period I can simply put it in before work and not need to empty until I get home which is better than having tampons in my bra at work for when I need to keep changing them.
Ensure you stay relaxed, don't get stressed and practice you will find the JuJu the best thing you invested in.

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the Juju cup and shocked that I only discovered it at the age of 39 years! I wish I had been using it for many more years. I would have saved myself so much money, and saved the environment from so much unnecessary waste if I’d only known sooner what a great product it is. I am very physically active - running and doing yoga and gym classes nearly everyday and I am thrilled that it’s so comfortable, easy to use and saves a lot of space in my bathroom cupboard. I am very excited about being able to use it travelling and especially camping in the bush which I have found to be so much hassle with tampons. We really need to get this product more well known! I am telling all my friend anyway. We could save so much disposable waste if

I agree with the many women who praise the Juju cup in their reviews.
I just wanted to add something for women who do not like to use tampons. I was never a tampon user but loved the Juju cup once I got used to it. Insertion was quite easy for me to get the hang of.
I hope many more women will have the heart to try it.

just wanted to give you guys a review. I love my cup so much (Sounds so weird writing this). I hadn't heard of many people trying cups so was skeptical at first but after reading all the online reviews wanted to give them a try. After deciding to get one of course I wanted to try an Australian brand first of all. And I love it. I barley even notice that I have my period any more and can hardly feel the cup when its in. It has given me so much more freedom as I always was checking previously as I seemed to always leek. I wont be looking back now and will defiantly try and convert all who will listen.

This is the first menstrual cup I've bought. It's designed well, and always opens up (unlike a softer cup I bought later). However, because my cervix is so high, the cup always rides up so that I can barely even reach the base of the cup with my longest finger. It does take me a very long time to remove the cup, and the grips aren't grippy enough for me to grab on to. I don't get any leaks with the Juju cup. I'm sure it would be fine if I had a lower cervix, but it's not for me.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have been using this for months with absolute ease. But the best review I can give it is as a participant in this years 2016 100km Oxfam Trailwalker event.... that's right, I got my period during this huge event, and my Juju cup saw me through with absolutley no problem. So if I can use it for a 100km walk with complete comfort, then that's got to be pretty impressive right? Thanks so much :)

I wanted to leave some positive feedback :). I've been using the juju cup for a few months now and I love it. It took some getting used to, but it's absolutely leakproof and only needs to be emptied once in the morning and once at night (even on my heavy day). Also (but this could be psychosomatic) the cramping and general discomfort I experience during my period have reduced a fair bit. Highly recommended :)

It took me a few months to pluck the courage to buy a juju cup. I did so much reading and decided it was worth a shot. NO REGRETS!
I'll admit, the first time I used the cup it was hard work. The first time I put it in I couldn't get it out! Not exaggerating, it probably took me half an hour to get it out and I was in a huge panic imagining myself needing to go to the emergency room! I found that if I sat on the toilet and pushed down like you need to wee it moved the cup 'forward' and I could get a grab on it. Once I mastered the getting out I then found it difficult to get a proper suction on it. I found the pulling it out and re-inserting did the trick. So week 1 was a huge learning curve, but I am glad I persisted. Despite the feeling of hard work, I felt great. It might sound strange but I felt cleaner for using it, and the fact that my period had zero rubbish is also amazing (as is also supporting an Australian business)!
Now on my second month of using the cup I find that it is no longer hard work and my period does not feel like a burden. Using the cup is SO EASY now that I have the hang of it. I change it in the morning and at night and I don't even feel it during the day. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and my only advice is to take the time needed to get used to it, because it is worth it!

I bought a Model 1 cup and "persevered" with it for a couple of cycles (issues with leakage and poor fit) before contacting juju about purchasing a Model 2. Brenda was great and forwarded a model 2 cup within the week.
I am now coming to the end of my first cycle with model 2 and now I understand the comments others have made about it's ease of use and general all round greatness.
I spent all day yesterday out in the Pilbara sun and forgot I had my period! I will be recommending this product to my friends.
I would like to thank juju for their prompt and fantastic customer service regarding sending me the different model.
