In recent years, reusable menstrual (or period) cups have grown in popularity and become a favoured alternative to disposable tampons and pads as they are cost-effective, convenient and reduce environmental waste. In a study conducted into the acceptance of menstrual cups, 91% of participants said they would continue to use a menstrual cup after using it for 3 cycles and said they would recommend it to others. So why not ditch those soggy disposables and be free from strings and wings?
JuJu Cup is made in Australia to strict ISO standards. Made from only 100% medical grade silicone, which is derived from natural sand or ‘silica’, JuJu is free from latex, dyes and fragrances; making it suitable for people with sensitive skin. The medical grade silicone used in JuJu Cups is processed in a Grade 8 clean room environment and carries independent biosafety certificates. JuJu Cups are vegan-friendly as they do not contain any animal products or by-products.
Inserting and removing the period cup only takes a few seconds. The cup is folded and then inserted in the same way you would a tampon. It then opens inside the vaginal canal where it creates a seal with the vaginal walls and collects menstrual fluid. Every 8 hours, or more often if you have a heavy flow, it is removed and the contents is emptied.
The JuJu is available in four different model sizes. Whilst there are no hard and fast rules for selecting a size, model selection is generally based on childbearing history and age. Many other factors such as anatomy, pelvic floor tone and cervical position may also influence your period cup size selection.
JuJu is the only menstrual cup made in Australia and was designed by women for women. It is a government requirement that menstrual cups sold within Australia be listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). JuJu was registered with the TGA in 2011 and is also listed with the USA Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Buy from a reputable brand with core values which align with yours and that carry the necessary government registrations.
I have hated tampons and pads for years. I'm thrilled with my Juju. So easy to use and none of the tampon side effects (tampons = can be felt, itch, get wet strings, blood flows around them rather then absorbed, pads needed to back up tampons because they are rubbish). My Juju requires no back up pads. It can't be felt. It doesn't smell. It doesn't itch. So easy to use. I'm spreading the word. I wish I'd known about them years ago. I'll never go back. Love my Juju!

DOUBLE THUMBS UP FROM ME
This is the best invention ever! A must for all females.. I just love my Juju. Been using one now for about 5 cycles and just can't get over how much easier it makes my monthly cycle. Lasts so much longer than tampons, much more comfortable, no leakages and it's great for the environment. Only regret is not trying this out sooner as I've just turned 40.. Buy one and I can guarantee you won't regret it. Convinced 6 girlfriends to buy one as I just rave about mine all the time.. What a wonderful product... double thumbs up from me.
I have to say I was a little hesitant to try the cup, as I was worried about the mess factor, and whether it would be discreet at work and in public locations. I was surprised at how discreet and mess free they are to remove - so easy for public situations. I am completely converted and wouldn't go back to pads or tampons again. Just wish I had the courage to try sooner!
I was always very skeptical. Seems so odd.... anyway. I am a 100% happy customer. I love not having to use tampons. I love that you can wear it all day. Bit tricky when you first use. But research- find out good techniques and get ready to get intimate!!!! Life changed!!!!
