Animal Wildlife Rescue

As fires continue to burn across the country, our ecosystems are suffering. Years of drought have resulted in our native wildlife struggling to find food, and with the unprecedented bushfires experienced over the last few months destroying their habitats, millions more have perished or are struggling to survive. They urgently need our support.

Over the last 200 years, some 34 species and subspecies of Australian native mammals have become extinct - the highest rate of loss for any region on Earth. Ecologists have calculated that over 1 billion animals have been affected by bushfires across the country since September - over 800 million in New South Wales alone.

From February 5 until February 20, we'll be donating 10% of the proceeds from each purchase made through our website to the NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service (WIRES).

The team at WIRES are working tirelessly to support, rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife. They have recently launched two national emergency relief grants programs to assist our native wildlife and the volunteers who are doing all they can to help. You can read more about the WIRES mission on their website.

We can all do our part to support Australia's unique and beautiful ecosystems by reducing our eco-footprint. A great way to start is by choosing reusables over single-use. Not only do reusables lower our demand for new resources, but it also slows down the overwhelming amount of waste accumulating on our planet.

To support WIRES, make a donation directly or shop the full JuJu collection online until February 20 and we’ll donate 10% of proceeds from your purchase.
