reusable period pads

Why Reusable Pads?

The truth is, disposable sanitary pads are really hard on our environment. What’s more, is that making a sustainable choice actually reduces your cost, and allows you to have more comfort. You use organic cotton pads just like disposable ones, except you wash them out after use and keep your cotton pads ready for your next cycle.

Why Our Reusable Pads

What is GOTS?

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certified. The GOTS standard ensures the organic status of textiles from harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing all the way to labelling in order to provide credible assurance to the consumer.

More Questions? We have answers.
Will the organic pads bunch up in my underwear?
No - the absorbent layers in the cloth pads are sewn and secured down the centre only, so they sit comfortably and close to the body without scrunching/ bunching up.
Where are Juju Reusable pads made?
JuJu pure cotton cloth pads and the natural coloured cloth pads are handmade in Korea where Korean Employment & Labour Laws and Regulations protect workers from being overworked and ensure they earn a fair living wage. JuJu Black Cloth Pads are made in China in an SGS verified facility from GOTS certified organic cotton.
Are the cotton sanitary pads super bulky?
Nope! JuJu organic cotton pads for periods are designed to be slimline and similar in thickness to disposable ultra-thin pads, for ultimate comfort. They vary in thickness slightly depending on the size. Our larger size organic pads have more absorbent layers.
Do the organic cloth pads smell when we use them?
Just like disposable pads, organic cloth pads can start to smell if worn for an extended period of time. Once menstrual blood is exposed to air, it begins to oxidise and form an odour. No fragrances are used in JuJu organic cotton pads to mask odours, so we recommend changing your pad every 3-4 hours to prevent odours. The same goes for if you’re using JuJu cloth pads for light bladder leakage (LBL) or light urinary incontinence - our pads do not contain fragrances to mask the odour of urine.
